Fallout 3 Quick Impressions

Holy moly.  Fallout 3 is MASSIVE.  I’ve been playing it now for a few days, and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface on seeing what there is to see.  I’m playing the game as a sort of rogue character.  I will steal when necessary, but won’t hurt an innocent person or bystander.  I [...]

Buying the Election, Nearly Literally

I’ve been RELATIVELY quiet about the election process, not wanting to alienate any of my readers, but no matter where you stand politically, it’d be pretty hard to deny that Obama’s campaign is buying like crazy.  Hell, I just learned that his infomercial this week will pre-empt the World Series pre-game show. If you’re the [...]

Take On Me, Literally

Make sure and at least watch until the lyrics start.

Saints Row 2: Bigger, Badder, Still a Little Buggy

I know that Bigger, Badder, Buggier would be a better working title, but it’s just not the case.  Saints Row 2 is FUN. The graphics are updated, but the game still suffers from the tearing that its older brother had.  To be fair, there’s a v-sync option in this game, too, but then you take [...]

Blu-Ray: “A Bag of Hurt”, Jobs Says

That’s one of the funniest quotes I’ve heard in a long time.  Everyone’s so weird about talking about Blu-Ray, so when he said that, and described the pains, I was happy.  I still want a hard-copy of an HD movie, but it apparently should’ve been HD-DVD who won, since more studios liked working with it.  [...]

I’m Impressed

This is the trailer for the new Spider-Man game coming out, Web of Shadows.  I like how the trailer was cut.  I know there’s the overused Moonlight Sonata in there, but I still liked the action and the animation of the characters.  What do you think?

I Know Someone Famous

Alright, maybe not famous YET, but a photographer at the station is getting some recognition for a film he’s working on.  Neil Kellen is putting together a movie called ‘Abaddon’.  He’s decided to make his entire production “open-source”, getting input, donations, script help, etc from the community.  It’s a concept that got him some attention [...]
